Description

This modification will change the look of the explosions in various ways described below. An attached video is available, too.

Stronger, bigger vehicle explosions.
Vehicle explosions will produce more fire particles.
Vehicle explosions willd produce some residual fire on the ground. Not much at the moment as i'm still tinkering with this value.

At the moment, this mod will only affect the explosions of small / medium vehicles, as i'm still tinkering with some values. Mostly to avoid unnecessary framerate impact on your end.



I'm always looking for feedback, especially for the first releases, so feel free to do so in the comment section.

How to install

Start OpenIV
Navigate to Grand Theft Auto V \ update \ update.rpf \ common \ data \ effects
Activate edit mode
Replace (you can just drag and drop) explosionfx.dat with the one coming in this archive
Disable edit mode
Enjoy !

If you fuck something up the original file is included in the archive, just in case. Or if you simply want to uninstall.
